Youth Center Offering Open Enrollment

Students in grades six through 12 can get help with homework, shoot hoops, and find a wide range of other activities available at Hamden Youth Services every afternoon.

 

The Hamden Youth Services’ Youth Center is holding open enrollment for Hamden youth in Grades 6 through 12.  

The Center is located at 60 Putnam Ave. in the Board of Education building. Hours are from 2:30 to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday, according to the Hamden Public Schools’ calendar.

Activities include homework time and assistance, basketball, arts and crafts, games, foosball, ping pong, video games, computers, daily snack and more. Yearly registration fee is based on household income and ranges from $40.00 to $100.00 per year. This fee covers July 1, 2012 - June 30, 2013. Transportation is provided from Ridge Hill School, Hamden Middle School and Hamden High School.
