Will It Rain on Halloween?

While the forecast for Halloween doesn't call for hurricanes, tropical storms or snow this year, it is calling for rain.

Chances are, the children you know have already started asking how much it will rain on Halloween. Here's the National Weather Service forecast for Hamden.

Halloween Day

A chance of showers after 2 p.m.. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 63. Light southeast wind becoming south 5 to 10 mph in the morning. A 30 percent chance of precipitation.

Halloween Night

Showers, mainly after 8 p.m. Low around 58. South wind 13 to 18 mph. A 90 percent chance of precipitation. New precipitation amounts predicted between a tenth and quarter of an inch.
