With Thanksgiving almost here, who better to wish you a happy holiday than Wilbur Cross, the former governor of Connecticut.

The video above was just put on YouTube by the Connecticut State Library and is of Wilbur Cross reading his 1938 Thanksgiving Proclamation, according to the Associated Press. Cross — a former English professor at Yale — was first elected governor in 1931 and served four terms.
