Santa's Elks Provide Holiday Gifts to 'At-Risk' Youth

This holiday season, the Hamden Elks and their families provided gifts through their annual “Giving Tree” to area youth in need.

Members purchased gifts to donate to Youth Continuum of New Haven, which annually serves over 1,000 young adults in south central Connecticut, providing housing and services for at-risk and homeless youth from ages 13-23.

Shown are Youth ContinuumVice President of Operations Paul Kosowsky, Youth Continuum Chief Executive Officer Carole Shomo, Hamden Elks Activities Chair Ed Gorman, Lodge member Marilyn Larolo and Hamden Lodge President Alton Hudson.

For more information or to aid local youth in need, call the Youth Continuum Development Office at 203-562-3396 ext. 28.
