Dogs Available at the New Haven Animal Shelter

These dogs have until Jan. 17 to find new homes -- could yours be one?

Thank you for taking the time to read about the urgent dogs at the New Haven Animal Shelter.

Four of the dogs have been at the shelter for months and three are not faring well with the pressures of the crazy shelter life. The New Haven Animal Shelter houses 64 dogs and it can really stress some dogs out with all the noise and chaos.

Because of the number of dogs at the shelter, they do not get the attention and exercise that they need to stay of a healthy mind and spirit. So, please consider saving one (or more), they would definitely do better at a shelter or rescue where they will receive more attention, food and exercise.

Angel, Melody and Pearl are victims of shelter stress whereas Bubbles, Chili, Tyler and Snow have simply been at the shelter for months.  All these dogs are good dogs. Please help save a life and take one before Jan. 17, the euthanization date of these dogs.

NO APPOINTMENTS NEEDED. IF YOU ARE INTERESTED IN ADOPTING, PLEASE VISIT THE SHELTER MONDAY - SATURDAY 12:30 - 4:30 OR CALL THE SHELTER AT (203) 946-8110.
