Hamden Animal Control Adoptables

Some, like Sadie, a black pit mix, have been waiting almost a year for a forever home. Now she could be euthanized soon if no one adopts her.

For more information or to schedule a visit with any of these pets, please contact Officer Smith or Officer Gimler at 203-230-4080 and reference their impound number. You can also contact Dolores Giannini or Pat Norcia at Hamden Happy Tails Foundation (203) 640-3107, (203) 508-0390. Most of our dogs are picked up as strays. While dogs are evaluated prior to adoption, there is no guarantee of temperament or health. Adoption is contingent upon completion and approval of an adoption application which can be obtained by visiting our home page or from our Animal Control Officers
