The gift in Visual Learning is Most Helpful in School Systems Across the Country

A positive way to teach kids as early as kindergarten remains positive by visualization

Hundreds of schools in the United States and in the U.K. have adopted the "cafeteria traffic light noise monitor" for this reason, a positive tool that provides all students with a visual reminder to what appropriate noise levels are. And at best - many students find this tool also rewarding because they learn the acceptance in four sound levels: silence, whisper, partner voice and table voice.

Students are taught how to use their voices appropriately in the classroom, gym and cafeteria - hence, the adoption of the "traffic light noise monitor" inschool cafeterias, it also promotes and teaches safety, to be able to hear.

By no means am I stating that everyone needs to be quiet at all times, but by teaching the children the four acceptable noise levels, it also helps everyone, staff included, to be able to hear in emergency situations without the 83% noise level (a level equivalent to a lawn mower) for the safety of the children.

With the use of the traffic light noise monitor, it also teaches the importance of orderly conduct in our schools where children learn to understand the definitions of all 4 noise levels and why the visual use of the traffic light is important. What if a fire alarm went off or an emergency announcement was made over the loud speaker - all staff and children need to be able to hear it for everyone's safety.

Specially made traffic light noise monitors in schools are a value to students and staff specifically for safety reasons. Safety is always first, and with that being said, the use of visual alerts; such as a traffic light noise monitors in schools; teaches, enhances and keeps orderly conduct in our schools in effort to promote safety in all means.

This is a positive way to teach kids as early as kindergarten the importance of understanding and learn by visualization - as in the traffic light noise monitor seen in hundreds of schools in the United States and U.K. To the children, it is rewarding when they know they are keeping it green during lunch time, using their in-door voices enjoying a pleasant lunch and conversation with their peers before going back to class.

Understand the difference. To be able to hear in a large room or place is very important to society in general, no matter where we are, safety is first and visual tools help us as humans in life and everywhere we are, no matter where we are.  Just like the importance of following the traffic light rules on the road.

while receiving Staples Rewards does help defray the cost of supplies for the teachers, they areRead More STILL putting cash out of their own pockets! This should not be. But Kudos to the teachers who put their students above their own financial situation. The Town and parents should be footing the costs, not the teachers.
