Ann Marie Gaetano, 82, of 52 North Lake Dr., Hamden, died Tuesday, Aug. 8, at her home after a long illness.
Ann was born in New Haven, July 7, 1930, the daughter of the late Michael and Mollie Antonio Gaetano, and resided in Hamden all of her life.
She was head of the English Department in the North Haven School System, retiring 25 years ago.
She is survived by several cousins.
Friends are invited to attend a graveside service Friday at 1:30 p.m. in Beaverdale Memorial Park Cemetery, Hamden.
