Annie M. Goldman, 90

She was retired from Yale University and leaves a large family of children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and a great-great grandchild.

Annie M. Goldman, 90, of Hamden, departed this life Aug. 30, 2012.

Born in Goldsboro, NC, March 25, 1922, she was the daughter of the late George and Selena Bryant. Prior to retiring, she was employed for 20 years in Custodial Services at Yale University.

She is survived by daughters, Anne Gooding, Doretha R. Smith and Delores Lewis; sons, Willie George Davis and Anthony Reid; 12 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; a great-great grandchild; and other relatives and friends.

She was predeceased by brothers, Thomas, Henry, Charles and George Bryant; and a sister, Evelyn Bryant.

A celebration of Ms. Goldman's life and legacy will be held Friday, Sept. 7, 2012, at 11 a.m. at Greater Mt. Carmel Pentecostal Church, 399 Goodrich St., Hamden. Viewing and visitation will be held at the church from 10 -11 a.m. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery.
