Edward J. Hamilton, Jr.

The Hamden resident, who served in the U.S. Marine Corp. during World War II, will be buried Monday.

Edward J. Hamilton, Jr. of Hamden died Thursday, Aug. 2, 2012, at his home.

He was the beloved husband of Katherine Jane (McGuire) Hamilton and the loving father of Jane Lee of Hamden, Joan Donegan of PA., Carrie-Jude Carter of Guilford, Mary Reynolds of Hamden and Mark Hamilton of Hamden. He is also survived by his 11 cherished grandchildren.

Edward served with the U.S. Marine Corp. during WWII. Prior to his retirement, he worked in the printing industry as a Lithographer.

His funeral will leave Sisk Brothers Funeral Home, 3105 Whitney Ave., Hamden, Monday at 10:30 a.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. at St. Joan of Arc Church. Burial will be in All Saints Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home Monday from 9:30-10:30 a.m.
