Elizabeth Ann Behrmann, 65

She was a "kind and generous woman" who cared for everyone she met, according to her family.

Elizabeth Ann Behrmann, 65, of Hamden entered into peaceful rest on Sunday, Sept. 16, 2012, at her home with her devoted family by her side.

Elizabeth was born to Ann (Mrozinski) Morse and the late James Morse on Sept. 8, 1947 in New Haven. Elizabeth was a dedicated employee of the Hospital of Saint Raphael's for 35 years until her recent retirement.

Elizabeth was a kind and generous woman who was quick witted, humorous, but still the voice of reason. She cared for everyone that she encountered. However, nothing compared to the love she had for her family and friends and of course, her love for her pets that were often by her side.

Elizabeth was survived by her loving husband of 45 years, Henry H. Behrmann of Hamden, her daughter Rebecka Ann (Frank Jr.) Sasso of Hamden, her sons Wayne Henry Behrmann of Hamden, Christopher James (Dianne) Behrmann of Vernon, and her beloved grandchildren, Emily Elizabeth and Daniel Ryan Sasso and Madalyn Clare Behrmann.

Family and friends will gather at Hamden Memorial Funeral Home, 1300 Dixwell Ave., Hamden, on Saturday, Sept. 29, from 3 to 5 p.m. to celebrate a life well lived. Funeral Services will be private.

Anyone who would like to make a donation in memory of Elizabeth could do so to The Animal Haven, 89 Mill Rd., North Haven, CT 06473.

Condolences may be also left for the family online at www.hamdenmemorialfh.com

while receiving Staples Rewards does help defray the cost of supplies for the teachers, they areRead More STILL putting cash out of their own pockets! This should not be. But Kudos to the teachers who put their students above their own financial situation. The Town and parents should be footing the costs, not the teachers.
