Geraldine Flynn Sharron, 95

Funeral services will be held Wednesday morning in the Chapel of Sacred Heart Manor.

In Connecticut Hospice, Sept. 1, 2012, Geraldine Flynn Sharron, 95, of Hamden.

Geraldine was the beloved wife of the late Edmond C. Sharron, Sr. She was the mother of Edmond C. "Ted" Sharron, Jr. of Lancaster, PA and Sr. Mary Anne Sharron, A.S.C.J. of Hamden.

She was the grandmother of Elliot Sharron and Stephanie Collura, the great-grandmother of Olivia, Liam and Katherine Collura and the sister of the late Eleanor Sensale, James Flynn and Marjorie Flynn. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Geraldine was born on Dec. 13, 1916 in New Haven, a daughter of the late James and Mary McDonald Flynn. She was a graduate of Hillhouse High School, class of 1933 and had been employed as a secretary in the dental office of Dr. John Noll, Pollack and Sullivan Architects and  the Second National Bank of New Haven.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday morning at 10 a.m. in the Chapel of Sacred Heart Manor, 261 Benham St., Hamden. Burial will follow in All Saints Cemetery.

Calling hours will be Tuesday from 4-7 p.m. at Sacred Heart Manor.
