Gwendlyn Randall, 61

The Hamden resident's services will take place Monday in New Haven.

Gwendlyn Randall, 61, of Hamden, passed away Dec. 04, 2012.

Gwendlyn was born to the late Alex Robinson and Lillian Dixon on Dec. 30, 1950, in Durham, NC.

She leaves to cherish her memory, daughter, Katurah Randall of New Haven; brother, Jimmy Roberts of NC; sister, Wanda Lewis of Hamden; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

A celebration of her life will take place Monday, Dec. 10, 2012 at Varick AME Zion Church, 246 Dixwell Ave. New Haven. Friends may call Monday from 10-11 a.m. at the church. Interment will take place at Beaverdale Memorial Park. Services by Howard K. Hill Funeral Services, 1287 Chapel St., New Haven, CT 06511.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to YNHH Transplant Dept and/or The American Cancer Society.
