Damion “DayDay” Gay, 23, of Cherry Ann St., Hamden, entered eternal rest on Jan. 8, 2014.
He was born to Anthony Gay and Andrea Williams on Aug. 16, 1990 in New Haven. He leaves to cherish his memory his loving parents, Anthony and Andrea; stepfather, Willard Hyman Jr.; stepmother, Maritza Acosta-Gay; daughter, Damoni Gay; four brothers, four sisters and a host of relatives and friends.
A celebration of life will be held Thursday, Jan. 16 at 11 a.m. at Wayfaring Ministries, 295 Treadwell St., Hamden. Calling hours will be Thursday at the church from 9-11 a.m. Interment will take place at Evergreen Cemetery.
