Edward L. Taylor, 69, of Hamden, the beloved husband of the late Betty V. Taylor, entered into eternal rest on Dec 1, 2013 at Yale-New Haven Hospital.
Edward was born July 12, 1944 in New Haven to the late Thomas L. and Genevieve Taylor. He was active in the community, a member of the Tri-State Teamster Local 443, the American Cancer Soc. and the U.S. Marine Corps.
He leaves to cherish his memory three sons; Noel and Anthony (Rena) Lloyd and Thomas (Brenda) Taylor; four daughters: Dale (Joseph) Snow, Vinnie Thomas, Jill Skinner and Heather Taylor-Little; sister Edith Taylor-Spencer, 10 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren
A celebration of life will Tuesday Dec. 12, 2013 at 11 a.m. at Immanuel Missionary Baptist Church, 1324 Chapel St. New Haven, with calling hours at 10 a.m. Burial will be at Beaverdale Memorial Park.
