Hamden Obituaries: Lillian M. Grace, 96
She loved to crochet, bake, cook and was a cat lover.
Lillian M. (Altieri) Grace, 96, of Hamden, died November 9, 2013.
Lillian was the wife of the late Salvatore Grace and the loving mother of Donna M. Grace of Hamden. She also is survived by several nieces and nephews and was predeceased by a brother, Ralph Altieri, Jr., and sisters Annette D’Agostino and Mary Colavolpe.
Lillian was born in New Haven on Oct. 16, 1917, the daughter of the late Ralph and Theresa (Sianni) Altieri, Sr.
Mrs. Grace retired after many years from Gant Shirtmakers. She loved to crochet, bake, cook and was a cat lover.
Her funeral will leave Sisk Brothers Funeral Home, 3105 Whitney Ave., Hamden, Friday at 10:30 a.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. in Blessed Sacrament Church. Burial will be in All Saints Cemetery. Calling hours are Thursday from 5 - 8 p.m.
