Joseph A Puleo, 70

The former Hamden resident was a past president of the Connecticut Society of CPAs, a past president of the Hamden Chamber of Commerce and an officer of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.

 

Joseph A Puleo, 70, of Hoffman Estates, IL, formerly of Hamden, passed away Feb. 7 after an extended illness.

Joseph was a former Partner of Puleo & Thompson, a past President of the Connecticut Society of CPAs, a past President of the Hamden Chamber of Commerce and an Officer of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.

He is survived by his daughter, Laura Szadvari of Locust Grove, VA, his son-in-law Joseph and his grandchildren Nicholas and Abigail. He was preceded in death by his loving companion, Elaine Thompson, formerly of North Haven.

A private Mass will be held in Locust Grove, VA at a later date. Private burial will be at St. Michael the Archangel Cemetery, Palatine, IL.

Donations in Joseph's name can be made to The National MS Society. Arrangements by Ahlgrim & Sons Funeral and Cremation Services, 330 W. Golf Rd., Schaumburg, IL. Information 847-882-5580.
