Lithie "Cookie Lady" Williams, 89, of Hamden, departed this life Dec. 1, 2012. She was the widow of George Williams.
Born in Kings Mountain, NC, Dec. 17, 1922, she was the daughter of the late Rufus Stowe and Delia Stowe Sanders.
She is survived by a sister, Margaret Morris; a grandchild; a great grandchild; the Morley Family; and a host of other relatives and friends.
She was predeceased by sons, Arthur Stowe and Eric Williams; four brothers; and four sisters.
A memorial service will be held Monday, Dec. 10, 2012, at 12 p.m. at Curvin K. Council Funeral Home, 128 Dwight St., New Haven.
