Marcia Krinsky Margolis, 88

Services for the Hamden resident are Tuesday morning.

 

Marcia Krinsky Margolis, 88, of Hamden, passed away peacefully on Saturday, Nov. 17, at the Masonic Health Care Center in Wallingford surrounded by her family. She was the wife of 58 years to Sidney J. Margolis.

Marcia was born in New Haven on Nov. 29, 1923. She was the daughter of the late Samuel and Yetta Flaks Krinsky and was a 1942 graduate of the former Commercial High School in New Haven.

She was the mother of Mark R. Margolis and his wife Janice Heggie of Branford and Sheryl Nealon and her husband Tadgh of New York; the grandmother of Matthew and Mallory Margolis and Cedar Lofland and Joshua Heggie, and the great-grandmother of Cee Jay and Isaiah Lofland. She also was the sister of Rita (Jordan) Reich, Helen Krinsky and the late Ann Dorfman, Max Krinsky, Norma Greenberg and Irene Krall. She also is survived by many nieces and nephews

The family would like to extend a special "Thank You" for the excellent care and comfort provided to Marcia from Dr. Monaco, Dr. Nadelmann, all the staff & nurses at the Hospital of Saint Raphael, the Masonic Hospice and the Hamden Health Care Center and their staff Shirley, Jillian, Jackie, Rachel, and Tracie.  

Family and friends are invited to attend a Graveside Service on Tuesday morning, Nov. 20th at 11 a.m. in the Adas Israel Section at Beaverdale Memorial Park.

Memorial contributions may be made to MADD, 317 Foxon Road, East Haven, CT 06513 or the Masonicare Hospice, 22 Masonic Avenue, Wallingford, CT 06492.
