Mary (DeBattista) Coassin, 90, of Hamden died Aug. 15. She was the wife of the late Reno Coassin and the loving mother of Raymond Coassin of Branford, Robert Coassin of Australia, Rosemary Gilbert and Rena Pasquence, both of Hamden.
Also survived by her nine cherished grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. Predeceased by brothers, Thomas & John DeBattista.
Mary was born in New Haven, Aug. 22, 1921, the daughter of the late Raymond & Sarah (D'Adamo) DeBattista. Prior to her retirement, she worked for the former SNET.
Her funeral will leave from Sisk Brothers Funeral Home, 3105 Whitney Ave., Hamden, on Saturday at 9:30 a.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. in Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church. Burial in St. Mary's Cemetery. Friends may call Saturday from 8:30-9:30 a.m.
