Pasquale "Pat" J. Cavallaro, 69
The Hamden resident was a food equipment specialist, owning and operating Cavallaro Bros for 10 years prior to retiring.
Pasquale "Pat" J. Cavallaro, 69, of Hamden, died Oct. 23, 2012 at Yale-New Haven Hospital after a long illness. He was the husband of Eleanor "Ellie" Nuclo Cavallaro.
Pat was born in New Haven on March 27, 1943, the son of the late Joseph and Antoinette Amarone Cavallaro, and was a food equipment specialist, owning and operating Cavallaro Bros for 10 years prior to retiring. He previously worked for the Hobart Corp.
He served in the US Navy and was a member of the Hamden Elks, Lodge 2224.

Besides his devoted wife, he is survived by two loving sons, Pasquale "Pat" (Francine) Cavallaro of Hamden and Michael (Jennifer) Cavallaro of North Haven; a brother, Frank Cavallaro of Del Ray, FL, the late Joseph and John Cavallaro; two adoring granddaughters, Jenna and Jessica Cavallaro.
His funeral will leave Friday at 9:15 a.m. from the Peter H. Torello & Son Funeral Home, 1022 Dixwell Ave., Hamden and a Mass of Christian Burial will be said at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church at 10 a.m. Interment will be in Centerville Cemetery. Friends may call Thursday from 4 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
