Raymond B. Moulter, 85

He was a proud husband, father and grandfather who loved and cherished his family.

Raymond B. Moulter, 85, beloved husband of 64 years to Christine (Piccolo) Moulter, peacefully passed on Wednesday, Jan. 23, 2013 at Gaylord Hospital in Wallingford.

Born Jan. 28, 1927 in New Haven he was the only son of the late Adam Charles and Margaret (Shanley) Moulter. Raymond proudly served his country in the U. S. Army during World War II and went on to work for the U. S. Postal Service for 37 years before retiring.

He was a very involved member of St. John the Baptist Church, was a member of N.A.R.F.E (National Assoc. of Retired Federal Employees), an avid golfer and NY Giants and Boston Celtics fan. He was a proud husband, father and grandfather who loved and cherished his family.

In addition to his wife Christine, he is survived by two sons and their wives, Lawrence Moulter and Pamela Frechette of Milton, MA and Charles and Marylouise Moulter of Franklin, MA, five grandchildren, Alexander, Nathaniel, Meredith, Kara and Adam and his great-grand dog, Piper. He was predeceased by three sisters, Edna Solimene, Lillian Moreland and Evelyn Davis.

A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Monday, January 28, 2013 at 11am at St. John the Baptist Church, 782 Dixwell Ave., New Haven. Burial will follow at Beaverdale Memorial Park, New Haven. Relatives and friends may call at BEECHER & BENNETT Funeral Home, 2300 Whitney Ave., Hamden on Monday, January 28 from 8:30am -10:30am, prior to the service.

In lieu of flowers donations in Raymond's memory may be made to Gaylord Hospital, P.O.Box 400, Wallingford, CT 06492 or to American Lung Association , 45 Ash St., East Hartford, CT 06108.

Yes, trust the state legislators, as we trusted the Social Security was supposed to be held In escrow, what happened? THEY STOLE THE MONEY AND USED IT FOR THEIR THINGS THEY THOUGHT WAS MORE BENEIFICIAL. So, let me get this straight- they take money out of the economy from us only to put it back into the economy because they know better how it should be used. Sure, that makes sense. They know better than YOU.
