Richard Dunham Sr., 90

Mr. Dunham served his country proudly with the US Army during WWII in the European Theater of Operations.

Richard Dunham, Sr. 90, of Hamden, died Dec. 17, 2012.

He was the husband of the late Margaret Moriarty Dunham and the loving father of Richard Dunham, Jr. (Christine) of Northford and the brother of Rachel Roy of Falmouth, Maine. He also is survived by his two cherished grandchildren Patrick Dunham and Richard Dunham, III. He was predeceased by a brother, David Dunham.

Richard was born May 28, 1922, in S. Paris, Maine, the son of the late Raymond and Elizabeth (Campbell) Dunham. Mr. Dunham served his country proudly with the US Army during WWII in the European Theater of Operations. He retired after many years from the former SNET, and was a member of the Telephone Pioneers of America.

His funeral will leave from Sisk Brothers Funeral Home, 3105 Whitney Ave., on Thursday at 9:30 a.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be said at 10 a.m. in Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church. Burial will follow in All Saints Cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday from 8:30 - 9:30 a.m. at the funeral home.

Yes, trust the state legislators, as we trusted the Social Security was supposed to be held In escrow, what happened? THEY STOLE THE MONEY AND USED IT FOR THEIR THINGS THEY THOUGHT WAS MORE BENEIFICIAL. So, let me get this straight- they take money out of the economy from us only to put it back into the economy because they know better how it should be used. Sure, that makes sense. They know better than YOU.
