Fundraiser for the Children of Lynn Shields

Originally this was started so that I could raise funds for the kids and give it to them at the funeral but due to lack of orders I am now turning this into an online Event to help raise money for the 2 young children she left behind...

Hello my name is Natasha Russo and I am the mother-in-law of the late Lynn Tirell Shields. Lynn was suffering from ITP Idiopathic Thrombocytopenic Purpura (ITP) which is a disorder that can lead to easy or excessive bruising and bleeding. The bleeding results from unusually low levels of platelets — the cells that help your blood clot.

After complications she ended up in ICU and passing away on February 14th, Valentine’s Day it was determined that unknown to us all her body was also fighting Leukemia which is cancer of the body's blood-forming tissues, including the bone marrow and the lymphatic system.

Leukemia usually starts in the white blood cells. Your white blood cells are potent infection fighters — they normally grow and divide in an orderly way, as your body needs them. She lost her battle to beat those two Blood Disorders. Leaving behind two precious children 3-year-old Ivy and 7-month-old Izaiah in which this fundraiser will help in providing things that will help the children with their needs.

Thank you so very much for your contribution we are truly grateful

How does buying Tupperware help the children (in addition to helping the seller)? Is this local? What town?

I live in East Hartford... and the reason I chose a Tupperware Fundraiser is becuase when the item gets used the person can always remember that they helped 2 children because off every purchase the kids get 40% of that sale... So that is how Buying the Tupperware helps the children...This has nothing to do with the seller making money it has to do with wanting to help the kids and leave the memory of these two little ones with those who helped...
