Patch's Poll: Would You Have A Beer With Gov. Malloy?

Latest Quinnipiac poll shows Conn. residents like to governor as a person, but aren't so crazy about the job he's doing. Take our poll and add your thoughts in the comments.

A Quinnipiac poll released Wednesday shows that while more folks in Connecticut like Gov. Dannel Malloy as a person, fewer like the job he is doing as the state's chief executive.

Forty-seven percent of registered voters questioned said they like the governor as a person, while 17 percent don't.

"The same poll showed 44 percent of registered voters disapprove of the job that he's doing, while 37 percent approve. In March, Quinnipiac found 45 percent disapproved of the job Malloy was doing, compared to 44 percent who approved," the Associated Press reported.

Roy Occhiogrosso, Senior Advisor to the Governor, released the following statement regarding today's Quinnipiac University poll.

"We have tried to be consistent in not saying much about polls because...what's there to say?  Polls come and go, numbers go up and down.  The Governor always does what he thinks is best for the state and the right thing to do."

What do you think? Do you like the governor as a person? Take our poll and add your thoughts in the comments.

while receiving Staples Rewards does help defray the cost of supplies for the teachers, they areRead More STILL putting cash out of their own pockets! This should not be. But Kudos to the teachers who put their students above their own financial situation. The Town and parents should be footing the costs, not the teachers.
