Should Hamden Parents Have Their Kids Taken Away?

Horrific story of strikes a chord with one parent.

The caregiver of a toddler found wandering the neighborhood in nothing but a diaper now looks like parent of the year here in Connecticut. And the father who packed pot in his kids lunch... might as well just run for elected office, because he is a saint.

A Hamden mother, and her live-in boyfriend in some of the most extreme, and negligent form of child abuse I have ever read locally, and honestly I am so disgusted as a parent, and human being I think they should never be allowed to care for another child in their lives.

Mariangely Arroyo-Rosado, the victim’s mother, and Bevon Young, her boyfriend were both arrested Thursday at their Warner Street apartment.

Arroyo-Rosado, 27, and Young, 26, were charged with first-degree reckless endangerment, second-degree assault and risk of injury to a minor.

But that is nothing compared to the details published about the condition this poor, helpless two year old toddler was found in.

No child should ever have a diaper rash that actually requires skin to be peeled away to treat. EVER. That is torture, and cruel! The child is two! He/she cannot change their own diaper, they depend on you!  This is an age where they are so helpless, and that kind of a diaper rash shows serious and prolonged neglect!

But it gets worse!  Broken bones, malnourished, dehydrated, and beaten to the point that his liver and other internal organs were damaged.

As a mother this as a whole breaks my heart. How can you ignore the needs of your baby?

Parents... sound off!

You've got to be kidding me. Do retirees need the gov to do this? What happened to personalRead More RESPONSIBILITY? Let the individual plan for their own retirement. Get the gov OUT of our lives. Yes, trust the state legislators, as we trusted the Social Security was supposed to be held In escrow, what happened? THEY STOLE THE MONEY AND USED IT FOR THEIR THINGS THEY THOUGHT WAS MORE BENEIFICIAL. So, let me get this straight- they take money out of the economy from us only to put it back into the economy because they know better how it should be used. Sure, that makes sense. They know better than YOU.
