“I am against the death penalty but it disturbs me that the state legislature is taking this action despite clear proof it is not what the majority of the people want. This is a case of the Democrats doing what the Democrats want, not what the people want.” The state House of Representatives voted to repeal the death penalty on Tuesday and is uneasy with the decision.
