'What About the Small Business Owner'

A look at the day's comments from Patch account holders in the region.

"When are they going to 'get it?' The ONLY way to create jobs is to cut taxes which means they have to cut spending."  -

"Why do all the "Big Firms" get money for creating 500 jobs apiece? What about the small business owner who can create 20 jobs??? Governor Malloy, this is not very equitable." -

"Yes, but where is the pool? Or is swimming not a sport in Darien?" -

"Nice these guys get a ticket and are released. You can thank Gov. Malloy for letting criminals walk with just a ticket. A bond should be set. Nice going to all the hard working officers that helped in this raid, too bad all their hard work results in just a WPTA." -

"Translation: If you are Monroe resident, be content that your power will be restored within a week. And doesn't "continuity of government" assume they are actually doing something useful in the first place? As a side note, my house temporarily lost power 3 separate times in the past 2 weeks!" -

"Heyyy. I remember that dude. Football guy" -

"The answer, simply put, is that we (adults) are telling children that do not have the mental capacity to succeed in college, that they should go to college.
Somebody has to fix the cars, be the hairdressers, waitresses and all the other non-college jobs. Mean as that seems. Stop sending (or trying to) send every child to college." -

"Trumbull has the right to the land back. Why are we allowing what appears as political collusion to have our porperty removed without compensation? Why do you people continue to vote for these people when you have a choice?" -
