Justice is definitely blind. Out of nowhere in the dark corners of municipal government, The town of Hamden (unbeknownst to residents) has conceded that the Woodin St fence belongs to New Haven and it's scheduled to be removed this Tuesday May 6th. Decades of deliberation, countless man hours, and the voice of public opinion forsaken in favor of political agenda. Hamden's gov't has collaborated with New Haven to have this done before any resident has any opportunity to do anything about it. Flood the town hall with your voice and your concern because this is a reality and it is happening! Protect your right to speak out!

After viewing Mayor Jackson’s New Haven Independent 2010 video interview one word came to mind “Disingenuous”. Mayor Jackson’s unscripted interview comments revealed that Mayor Jackson was working hand and hand with New Haven to have the Wooden St. fence removed by 2013. This YouTube video also brings Mayor Jackson’s professional integrity into question. Mayor Jackson does not have the authority to enter into an agreement with New Haven that would circumvent Hamden’s P&Z and Hamden’s Legislative Council, which this Harp/Jackson fence agreement does. Hamden Ethics Commission is the guardian of Hamden’s Town Charter. Hamden Ethics Commission has to get involved to insure that Mayor Jackson has not circumvented the authority of Hamden’s P&Z and Hamden’s Legislative Council by entering into this agreement with New Haven regarding the removal of the fence on Wooden St. New Haven Independent, 2010 interview with Mayor Scott Jackson. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2bFt5i6xKTQ

Preparation (preferably prevention of fence removal) is in order for much more of this: http://www.nhregister.com/general-news/20140508/rollover-crash-in-hamden-brings-down-pole-portion-of-woodin-street-closed
