Peapod.com's Kids Give Back Program at Helen Street School

Peapod.com teaches Helen Street School Students about Math, Nutrition & Giving Back to the Community through their Kids Give Back Program

Peapod.com visited Helen Street School on Wednesday to speak to fourth and fifth grade students about nutrition, practical math skills as well as giving back to the community through their Kids Give Back program. Peapod also offered each classroom gift cards to buy food for the St. Anne’s Soup Kitchen.

Once each classroom places their order with Peapod.com, the school will schedule a delivery for the $500 donation. At that time, the students will help the Peapod driver deliver the groceries and see how they've given back to the community first-hand and how the foods they donated will be used.

Peapod, the online grocer affiliated with Stop & Shop, is committed to helping the communities it serves and is encouraging the next generation to give back to the community and help instill healthy eating and budgeting lessons at an early age through their Kids Give Back program.
