AAA Employee Arrested After Bomb Scares

Police responded twice to the offices at the corner of Worth and Whitney avenues last month.

From the desk of Capt. Ronald Smith:

On Feb. 25 and Feb. 27, during the early evening hours, Hamden Police responded to the American Automobile Association Motor Club, 35 Worth Ave., on the report of bomb threats.

During the Feb. 25 incident, employees were evacuated. The New Haven Police Department Bomb Squad assisted in the investigation. Officers did not locate a bomb.
