Arrest Made in Basketball Player's Murder

T.J. Mathis was killed last September in New Haven.

New Haven police made an arrest this week in the shooting death of former Hamden High School basketball star T.J. Mathis.

Mathis, 25, was shot last September in New Haven.

The New Haven Independent reports that solving the case remained a priority for New Haven detectives.
