Danielle Shea, Former Quinnipiac Student Accused of Making Graduation Day Bomb Threats, Sees Case Continued

Shea allegedly made the bomb threats so her family wouldn't know she wasn't graduating.

The case against Danielle Shea, the former Quinnipiac University student who allegedly made bomb threats at graduation, was continued until Aug. 13.

Shea, 22, of Quincy, Massachusetts, was arrested May 18 in her cap and gown after allegedly calling in two bomb threats just before graduation ceremonies because she didn't want her family to learn she wasn't graduating.

Police have said that Shea dropped out of school but still collected thousands of dollars in tuition money from her mother.

NBCconnecticut.com reports Shea appeared in Meriden Superior Court on Monday with her attorney and her mother.
