Fire broke out in a Main Street home Thursday evening, heavily damaging the house and sending a cat to the hospital.
No one was injured in the fire but the homeowners rushed their cat off for treatment shortly after the fire was estinguished. They declined to comment at the scene, citing the need to get the cat help.
The front of the home was badly burned as several ladder trucks lined the street in front of the house. As firefighters worked, rain started to steadily pour down on them and lightning lit up the sky.
The cause of the fire wasn't immediately available Thursday night.
