Hamden Detective Helps Capture Fugitive in Meriden

Meriden man wanted in Pennsylvania on narcotics trafficking charges.

 Hamden Police Det. Raymond Quinn was one of several officers who raided a Meriden home early Wednesday morning and arrested a fugitive from justice.

Quinn is part of the U.S. Marshall Service's Connecticut Violent Fugitive Task Force. He, along with task force officers from New Haven and Meriden went to the Meriden home around6:50 a.m. and found Robert Larkins hiding under a pile of junk in the garage, according to Hamden police spokesman Det. Anthony Diaz.

Larkins, who is wanted by Pennsylvania authorities on narcotics trafficking charges, was arrested after a brief struggle, Diaz said.

Larkins, 33, of 21 Rice Rd., Meriden, was charged with being a Fugitive from Justice and held on a $250,000 bond. He is due to appear Feb. 16.
