Hamden Hit By Spike in Car Break-Ins

Latest rash of thefts has been in the south part of town.

Police in numerous southern Connecticut towns are investigating a spike in car break-ins, including , which .

NBC Connecticut reported this week that the south Hamden neighborhood was the latest target in the rash of vehicle break-ins.

Police told the television news reporters that thieves have scoured quiet neighborhoods at night looking for cars with valuables inside.

Hamden police said they are investigating the crime and they warned residents to make sure their vehicles are locked.
