A Hamden man is facing charges that he broke into a home and stole tools from it three years ago.
The incident occurred on June 21, 2010, according to Hamden Police spokesman Capt. Ronald Smith, when police got a report of a burglary at 360 Goodrich St.
Police found that someone had broken into the home, entering through a first-floor window they had broken, Smith said. The person stole about $1,000 worth of tools from the home, he said.
Detective John Marks investigated and eventually submitted an arrest warrant application for Dwayne Randolph, 43, of 324 Goodrich St. to the court.
Randolph was charged with third-degree burglary and fifth-degree larceny. He was held in lieu of $5,000.00 bond and was arraigned later in the day.
