Hamden PD: With Crack and Cash, Pair Faces Drug Charges

The suspects were found to have crack cocaine and several hundred dollars in cash, according to police.

The Hamden Police Department Street Interdiction Team concluded a drug investigation on April 4 that led to the arrests of two New Haven men on drug-related charges.

Officers conducted a motor vehicle stop vehicle owned by Eric Buchanan, near Arch Street and Bowen Street. A search of his vehicle led to the discovery of drug paraphernalia. James Fulton reportedly was in the possession of 14 bags of crack cocaine. Buchanan was found with $613.

Police charged Fulton, 37, of 9 DeDiego Ct., New Haven with possession of narcotics and possession of narcotics with intent to sell.

Buchanan, 30, of 81 Willis St., New Haven, was charged with conspiracy to possess narcotics and conspiracy to possess narcotics with intent to sell.

Both are scheduled to appear in court in Meriden on April 24.

Maybe the police should see if they are receiving any state assistance. If they are stop it. I'm sure dealing drugs is much more lucrative than state assistance. After all who's prosecuting these days. The AG's are told only to enforce the laws they deem fit. I know I know before you all go nuts. Holder was referring to gay rights, but why not any law. After all that's what the feds do.
