Hamden PD: Suspect Had Oxycodone Pills in Parking Lot


The Hamden Police Department Street Interdiction Team ended a drug investigation with the arrest of a suspect who reportedly had Oxycodone pills.

According to a press release, David Jackson, 58, of 807 B Dixwell Ave., New Haven, was arrested in the parking lot of a Hamden restaurant on March 26. A search of his motor vehicle led to the seizure of eight Oxycodone pills. Officers also confiscated $1,122 from Jackson, according to the release. 

Jackson, was charged with possession of narcotics and possession of narcotics with the intent to sell. He was held in lieu of $5,000 bond and is scheduled to appear in court in Meriden on April 10.
