Hamden Police Blotter: Reckless Burning, DUI, Interfering with an Emergency Call

Oct. 12:

— Joseph Melendez, 28, of 326 Forbes Ave., New Haven, was charged with two counts of second-degree mischief. He was arraigned Oct. 22 in Meriden Superior Court.

— Paul Novicki, 66, of 50 Doolittle Drive, Hamden, was charged with reckless burning. He was held in lieu of $5,000 bond and arraigned Oct. 22 in Meriden Superior Court.

— Joseph Samela, 61, of 164 Hampshire Drive, Hamden, was charged with disorderly conduct and interfering with an emergency call. He was arraigned Oct. 15 in Meriden Superior Court.

— Lorenzo Gibbs, 41, of 43 Elbert St., New Haven, was charged with operating while under the influence.  He was arraigned Oct. 28 in Meriden Superior Court.

Oct. 13:

— Soujah El-Alwani, 52, of 1160 Dixwell Ave., was charged with second-degree breach of peace. He was arraigned Oct. 25 in Meriden Superior Court.

— William Maynard, 33, of 1578 State St., New Haven, was charged with operating while under the influence.  He was held in lieu of $500 bond and arraigned Oct. 25 in Meriden Superior Court.

— Chinesha Robinson, 23, whose address wasn't available, was charged with second-degree assault and disorderly conduct. She was held in lieu of $5,000 bond and arraigned Oct. 15 in Meriden Superior Court.

— Maria Rodriguez, 50, of 650 Mix Ave., Hamden, was charged with disorderly conduct and assault on a victim over 60. She was held in lieu of $1,000 bond and arraigned Oct. 15 in Meriden Superior Court.

Oct. 14:

— Kyrell Dennison, 18, of 1798 State St., Hamden, was charged with first-degree criminal trespass. He was arraigned Oct. 28 in Meriden Superior Court.

— Fillie Hayward, 47, of 49 Patterson Drive, Hamden, was charged with second-degree breach of peace. Hayward was arraigned Oct. 28 in Meriden Superior Court.

— Kaitlyn Jupiter, 18, and Kathryn Jupiter, 20, of 222 Auger St., Hamden, each was charged with disorderly conduct. Both were arraigned Oct. 15 in Meriden Superior Court.

— Gretchen Kelly, 54, of 237 Goodrich St., Hamden, was charged with three counts of breach of peace and two counts of disorderly conduct. She was arraigned Oct. 28 in Meriden Superior Court.
