-- Samantha DeMetro, 40, of 1800 Dixwell Ave., Hamden, was charged July 28 with possession of a controlled substance, illegally obtaining or supplying drugs and risk of injury to a minor. She was held in lieu of $40,000 bond and was scheduled to be arraigned Aug. 10 in Meriden Superior Court.
-- Devyne Drayton, 23, of 12 Lilac St., New Haven, was charged July 27 with two counts of third-degree burglary, two counts of fifth-degree larceny, two counts of sixth-degree larceny and resisting arrest. He was held in lieu of $25,000 bond and was arraigned Aug. 9 in Meriden Superior Court.
-- Vipul Gopani, 44, of 67 Farm Hill Rd., Orange, was charged July 28 with fourth-degree sexual assault. He was released on a promise to appear in Meriden Superior Court Aug. 13.
-- Robert Gordneer, 62, of 649 Mix Ave., Hamden, was charged Aug. 6 with first-degree criminal trespass. He was released after posting $1,000 bond and is due to appear in Meriden Superior Court on Aug. 21.
-- Anthony Hicks, 19, of 32 Townsend Ave., New Haven, was charged Aug. 4 with two counts of second-degree criminal trespass, three counts of third-degree burglary, four counts of sixth-degree larceny and two counts of third-degree criminal mischief. He was held in lieu of $10,000 bond and is due to appear in Meriden Superior Court Aug. 20.
