Hamden Police Blotter -- Thursday, Aug. 9

Information provided by the Hamden Police Department; all suspects are innocent until proven guilty in court.

 

-- Jarrod Aaron, 29, of 66 Pine St., Hamden, was charged Aug. 3 with possession of a halucinogenic and interfering with a police officer. He was released on a promise to appear in Meriden Superior Court on Aug. 17.

-- Ghufran Al-Sukaini, 19, and Hanna-Farhood Ali, 37, whose addresses were unavailable, were both charged July 30 with fourth-degree larceny. Both were released on a promise to appear in court Aug. 13.

-- Robert Anastasio, 23, of 595 Benham St., Hamden, was charged July 26 with third-degree robbery, sixth-degree larceny and interfering with an officer. He was held in lieu of $15,000 bond and was arraigned Tuesday in Meriden Superior Court, where his case was continued to Aug. 24.

-- Trevon Barnes, 18, of 132 Helen St., Hamden, was charged Aug. 4 with failure to appear in court, interfering with police, falsely reporting an incidnet and second-degree false statement. He posted $8,500 and is scheduled to appear in court Aug. 17.

-- Kenneth Blake, 61, of 87 Gilbert Ave., Hamden, was charged Aug. 3 with operating a motor vehicle while under suspension and operating without insurance. He was released on a promise to appear in court Aug. 16.
