Hamden Police Blotter: Tuesday, Jan. 29

-- Thomas Sanders, 37, of 140 Walnut St., Stratford, was charged Jan. 10 with first-degree larceny. He was held in lieu of $10,000 bond and arraigned the same day in Meriden Superior Court.

-- Demetrius Shaw, 25, of 54 Wadsworth St., Hamden, was charged Jan. 10 with second-degree failure to appear in court. He was held in lieu of $500 bond and arraigned Jan. 24 in Meriden Superior Court.

-- Shaquanna Smith, 20, of 1351 Dixwell Ave., Hamden, was charged Jan. 9 with risk of injury to a minor. She was arraigned the same day in Meriden Superior Court.

-- Brian Smith, whose age was unavailable, of 659 Newhall St., Hamden, was charged Jan. 3 with two counts of the sale of a controlled substance. He was held in lieu of $50,000 bond and was arraigned Jan. 24 in Meriden Superior Court.

-- Christopher Standish, 30, of 355 Skiff St., North Haven, was charged Dec. 24 with threatening, disorderly conduct and criminal mischief. He was released on a promise to appear in Meriden Superior Court on Dec. 26.

-- Steven Steele, 34, of 65 Easton St., Hamden, was charged Jan. 3 with risk of injury to a minor, failure to keep drugs in the original container, possession of paraphernalia, two counts of possession of narcotics and two counts of illegal manufacture, distribution or sale of prescription drugs. He was held in lieu of $75,000 bond and was arraigned Jan. 24  in Meriden Superior Court.

-- Jonathan Strong, 23, of 50 Anita St., New Haven, was charged Jan. 1 with refusal to be fingerprinted, resisting arrest, threatening, second-degree breach of peace, criminal mischief and criminal trespass. He was held in lieu of $5,000 bond and was arraigned Jan. 15 in Meriden Superior Court.

-- Malika Swan, 34, of 60 Kensington St., New Haven, was charged Jan. 3 with sixth-degree larceny. She was released on a promise to appear in Meriden Superior Court on Jan. 24.

-- Cindra Taveras, 27, of 82 Beacon St., Hamden, was charged Jan 8 with third-degree criminal mischief and disorderly conduct. He was released on a promise to appear in Meriden Superior Court the next day.

-- Demarco Ware, 18, of 113 Second St., Hamden, was charged Jan. 3 with three counts of the sale of a controlled substance. He was held in lieu of $75,000 bond and was arraigned Jan. 24 in Meriden Superior Court.

-- George White, 52, of 655 Fitch St., Hamden, was charged Jan. 3 with first-degree failure to appear in court. He was held in lieu of $125,000 bond and was arraigned Jan. 17 in Meriden Superior Court.

-- Dennis Williams, 29, of 411 Mill Rock Rd., Hamden, was charged Jan. 6 with failure to appear in court and violation of probation. He was held in lieu of $5,350 bond and was arraigned Jan. 24 in Meriden Superior Court.

-- Edward Woods, 56, of 109 Kaye View Dr., Hamden, was charged Jan. 9 with disorderly conduct, assault and threatening. He was released on a promise to appear in Meriden Superior Court the next day.

-- Courtney Worthington, 25, of 436 Milford Point Rd., Milford, was charged Jan. 9 with second-degree forgery. She was held in lieu of $1,500 bond and was arraigned Jan. 23 in Meriden Superior Court.

-- Webster Zachery, 28, of 300 Pine Rock Ave., Hamden, was charged Jan. 1 with two counts of disorderly conduct. He was released on a promise to appear in Meriden Superior Court on Jan. 3.
