Hamden Police is investigating an early morning shooting that left a parked car riddled with bullet holes.
At about 1:30 a.m. Tuesday morning police got a report of shots fired in the area of Warner Street, according to police spokesman Capt. Ronald Smith.
"Investigation revealed that three individuals were sitting inside of a motor vehicle, which was parked in the parking lot of Slyce Pizza," Smith said in a release Tuesday. "The individuals advised officers that their vehicle was struck by numerous bullets. Further investigation revealed that the vehicle had sustained several bullet holes. There were no reported injuries."
Hamden Police and officers from the Southern Connecticut State University Police Department searched the area but didn't find anything, Smith said. The Hamden Police Department Detective Division is conducting the investigation, he said. Anyone with any information can contact police at 203-230-4000.
