UPDATE: Missing Teacher Found in New Jersey

He's ok, according to police.

 

Hamden Police received word Thursday that Christopher Merrall, the former Norwich educator and Hamden resident reported missing Tuesday, had been located in Cherry Hill, New Jersey, according to police spokesman Capt. Ronald Smith. 

"He was subsequently transported to a local hospital in New Jersey, for medical treatment," Smith said.

When word spread of Merrall's disappearance, many expressed hope he would be found safe. Some created a Facebook page, "Mr. Merrall, Please Come Home" that has more than 800 members.

received a report this morning of a missing man who family members fear may be suicidal.

Christopher Merrall, 53, of 650 Mix Avenue, Hamden was reported missing by a family member, according to police spokesman Capt. Ronald Smith. The family member told police that Merrall is suicidal, Smith said.

Merrall is described as a white male, 5’11”, brown eyes, wearing blue jeans and a green jacket. He was last seen traveling southbound on I-95, operating a blue 2008 Honda Fit, Ct. registration 873-WSR, according to Smith.

Merrall is a former science teacher at Norwich Free Academy.

If anyone has any information as to Merrall’s whereabouts, they are asked to contact the Hamden Police Department immediately at 203-230-4000.

THEY STOLE THE MONEY AND USED IT FOR THEIR THINGS THEY THOUGHT WAS MORE BENEIFICIAL. So, let me get this straight- they take money out of the economy from us only to put it back into the economy because they know better how it should be used. Sure, that makes sense. They know better than YOU.
