He Wanted More Than Just His Taxes Done

New Haven man arrested for exposing himself to tax professional at Jackson Hewitt Tax Service.

 

A New Haven man was arrested Monday after he allegedly exposed himself to a woman working at Jackson Hewitt Tax Service.

At about noon, Officer Ronald Glifort responded to the business at 1338 Dixwell Ave. on the report of indecent exposure, according to Hamden Police spokesman Capt. Ronald Smith.

A female employee there told Gilfort that Anthony Randolph, 25, of 429 Huntington St., New Haven came into the business and started talking to her, Smith said. 

"Moments later, the individual, who was identified as Anthony Randolph, unzipped his pants and exposed himself," Smith said. "The employee immediately contacted the Hamden Police Department. Randolph subsequently fled on his bicycle, southbound on Dixwell Avenue."

A short time later, Officer Stephen Baris saw Randolph in the area of the US 1 Petrol Gas Station and arrested him, Smith said.

Randolph was charged with public indecency, second-deree breach of peace and interfering with a police officer. Randolph was held in lieu of $10,000 bond and is scheduled to appear in Meriden Superior Court on March 13.
