An employee at was arrested this week on charges he sexually assaulted a co-worker.
responded to the center at 1270 Sherman Ave. on Dec. 22 on the report of a sexual assault, police spokesman Capt. Ronald Smith said.
There, a female employee told investigating officers that a male co-worker had forced her into a patient's room, held her against her will and "touched her inappropirately," Smith said.
After investigating the claims, police arrested Michael Hodge, 37, of 105 Knox St., West Haven. He was charged with first-degree sexual assault and first-degree unlawful restraint.
Calls to the nursing home were not immediately returned. It is unknown Hodge's current status at the facility.
Hodge was held in lieu of $100,000 bond and is scheduled to be arraigned today (Jan. 5).
