Hamden Police Blotter -- Friday, Sept. 7

-- David Alter, 18, of 15 Harding St., Hamden, was charged Aug. 26 with third-degree burglary, third-degree criminal mischief, evading responsibility and taking a car without permission. He was held in lieu of $3,000 bond and is due to appear in Meriden Superior Court on Sept. 10.

-- Jamie Cornell, 30, of 1554 Dixwell Ave., Hamden, was charged Aug. 29 with second-degree breach of peace and third-degree assault. Cornell was held in lieu of $1,000 bond and arraigned the next day in Meriden Superior Court.

-- John Cotton, 46, of 43 Clifford St., Hamden, was charged Aug. 19 with second-degree assault and disorderly conduct. He was held in lieu of $1,500 bond and was arraigned the next day in Meriden Superior Court.

-- Holly Doyle, 47, of 31 Academy Hill Road, Derby, was charged Aug. 20 with second-degree identity theft, illegal use of a credit card greater than $500 and third-degree larceny. She was released on a promise to appear in court and was arraigned Aug. 30 in Meriden Superior Court.

-- Raymond Dugay, 43, of 46 Easton St., Hamden, was charged Aug. 26 with second-degree harrassment. He was released on a promise to appear in Meriden Superior Court on Sept. 10.
