Police Blotter -- Monday, Jan. 14

Recent arrests made by the Hamden Police Department.

 

-- Karari Jenkins, 26, of 76 Lilac St., New Haven, was charged Dec. 21 with sixth-degree larceny and resisting arrest. Jenkins posted $500 bond and arraigned Jan. 8 in Meriden Superior Court.

-- Aaron Johnson, 37, whose address wasn't available, was charged Dec. 20 with second-degree failure to appear in court. He posted $500 bond was arraigned Jan 7 in Meriden Superior Court.

-- Tibor Kiraly, 40, of 2720 State St., Hamden, was charged Dec. 18 with disorderly conduct. He was arraigned the next day in Meriden Superior Court.

-- Alphonse Moncerase, 40, of 284 Front Ave., West Haven, was charged Dec. 15 with second-degree breach of peace, assault on a police officer and resisting arrest. He posted $500 bond and was arraigned Jan. 3 in Meriden Superior Court.

-- Charles Quinn, 36, of 78 North Whittlsey Ave., Wallingford, was charged Dec. 22 with disorderly conduct and third-degree assault. He was released on a promise to appear in Meriden Superior Court on Jan. 3.

-- Ronel Reyes, 21, of 113 Circular Ave, Hamden, was charged Dec. 15 with disorderly conduct. He was released on a promise to appear in Meriden Superior Court on Dec. 17.

-- Nya Rush, 18, of 166 South Genesee St., New Haven, was charged Dec. 21 with two counts of sixth-degree larceny. He was released on a promise to appear in Meriden Superior Court on Dec. 7.

-- Ebony Smith, 29, of 55 Victory Dr., New Haven, was charged Dec. 19 with threatening an second-degree harassment. She was released on a promise to appear in Meriden Superior Court on Jan. 4.

-- Allison Strait, 32, of 2297 Whitney Ave., Hamden, was charged Dec. 20 with credti card theft and fourth-degree larceny. She was released on a promise to appear in Meriden Superior Court on Jan. 7.

-- Valeka Williams, 36, of 168 South Genesee St., New Haven, was charged Dec. 18 with sixth-degree larceny. She was released on a promise to appear in Meriden Superior Court on Jan. 7.

-- Jessica Williams, 23, of 81 Rock Creek Rd., New Haven, was charged Dec. 21 with two counts of sixth-degree larceny. She was released on a promise to appear in Meriden Superior Court.

-- Temekia Woolfolk, 24, of 306 Pine Rock Ave., Hamden, was charged Dec. 22 with disorderly conduct. She was released on a in Meriden Superior Court on Dec. 24.

-- Ebony Yancey, 30, of 674 Howard Ave., New Haven, was charged Dec. 21 with sixth-degree larceny. She was released on a promise to appear in Meriden Superior Court on Jan. 7.

You've got to be kidding me. Do retirees need the gov to do this? What happened to personalRead More RESPONSIBILITY? Let the individual plan for their own retirement. Get the gov OUT of our lives. Yes, trust the state legislators, as we trusted the Social Security was supposed to be held In escrow, what happened? THEY STOLE THE MONEY AND USED IT FOR THEIR THINGS THEY THOUGHT WAS MORE BENEIFICIAL. So, let me get this straight- they take money out of the economy from us only to put it back into the economy because they know better how it should be used. Sure, that makes sense. They know better than YOU.
