Police Blotter -- Monday, Oct. 8

Credit card theft, assault, larceny and resisting arrests are some of the charges Hamden Police levied in the past few weeks.

 

-- Divine Allah, 31, of Brooklyn, NY, was charged Sept. 20 with credit card theft by transfer, two counts of sixth-degree larceny and interfering with an officer. He was held in lieu of $10,000 bond and was arraigned Oct. 4 in Meriden Superior Court.

-- Travon Barnes, 19, of 132 Helen St., Hamden, was charged Sept. 24 with two counts of second-degree failure to appear in court and two counts of resisting arrest. He was held in lieu of $10,000 bond and was arraigned Oct. 4 in Meriden Superior Court.

-- Esco Bennett, 50, of 154 Ivy St., West Haven, was charged Sept. 19 with fifth-degree larceny. He was arraigned the same day in Meriden Superior Court.

-- Raymond Dugay, 43, of 46 Eaton St., Hamden, was charged Sept. 23 with third-degree assault and second-degree breach of peace. He was held in lieu of $2,000 bond and was arraigned the next day in Meriden Superior Court.

-- Lawrence Fredericks, 19, of 12 Lee St., Hamden, was charged Sept. 25 with sixth-degree larceny and threatening. He was released on a promise to appear in Meriden Superior Court Oct. 8.

-- Tony Hawthorne, 33, of 302 Pine Rock Ave., was charged Sept. 17 with disorderly conduct. He was arraigned the next day in Meriden Superior Court.

-- Anthony Herring, 30, of 52 Howe St., New Haven, was charged Sept. 18 with possession of a controlled substance, reckless endangerment, risk of injury to a minor, possession of narcotics, sale of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was held in lieu of $100,000 bond and was arraigned Oct. 1 in Meriden Superior Court.

-- Nathaniel Holder, 36, of 214 Morse St., Hamden, was charged Sept. 24 with violation of a protective order. He was held in lieu of $75,000 bond and was arraigned the same day in Meriden Superior Court.

-- Sundiata Keitazulu, 56, of 329 Newhall St., New Haven, was charged Sept. 17 with interfering with an officer. Sundiata was released on a promise to appear in Meriden Superior Court Oct. 1.
